Learn to throw cast nets in the Lowcountry of Charleston, SC
CAST NETTING SERVICES
Catch schools of bait fish, shrimp for dinner, or simply learn about marine life through up close encounters. Regardless of what you plan to catch, through lessons with Kelsey, you will learn to master the art of cast netting.
THE ART OF CAST NETTING
There is so much more to cast netting than simply throwing the perfect pancake. Kelsey begins every lesson by learning about you. How you want to use your cast netting skills will guide the lesson – this is your tool after all! Every lesson is tailored for you, and is based on what you are looking to get out of your cast netting experience. There are many different types, sizes, and weights of nets. What you want to catch can determine the type of net you should be using. Cast Away supplies several different nets and will cover when to use each type. The art of throwing is not about strength, but technique. You will learn several different ways to throw a cast net, and this too can vary depending on your catch. Finally, you can’t catch anything if you’re not in the right spot or know what to look for. You will acquire skills to know what environments your desired catch thrive in, and gain an eye for spotting your target.
NEVER BUY BAIT AGAIN
Catching your own bait through cast netting allows you to become a more effective and efficient angler.
CATCH YOUR DINNER
